Pre-Owned Vintage 1940’s Gloria Garibaldina Campagnolo Cambio Corsa 54cm Bicycle Barn Find …This is a very rare opportunity to buy a piece of cycling history… This maybe one of the rarest Italian race bicycles to add to any museum or collection
 
Gloria was founded in 1922 by Alfredo Focesi in Milan and very early introduced those prominent and brand-typical lily lug adornments. 
In 1923 Liberio Ferrario became the very first Italian amateur road world champion riding a Gloria. Today Gloria is known for being the first apprenticeship of Ernesto Colnago and Faliero Masi for their famous Garibaldina.
This “Barn Find” was discovered recently, it has been lovingly stored in a dry environment for many years.
 
Condition: This is a great base for a restoration/preservation project …. You get what you see in the pictures and needs a few more period items to complete.
 
This Restoration project is 90% Complete and comprises of the following:
